We may or may not be running a Thursday event this month. Saturday, April 3 - Westfield Saturday Open & Under 1500 12:15 p.m. This USCF Online-Regular rated event will consist of 2 sections, be password protected and bot-run at the following URLs: Open - https://lichess.org/swiss/jYM2vSFG Limited to players with 1200+ USCF OTB or Online-Regular ratings Under 1500 - https://lichess.org/swiss/cFrpxtr9 Format: 3-SS Time Control: G/40+5 Entry Fee: $5 FAMILY DISCOUNTS (siblings & parents only): $9 for 2 entries $12 for 3 entries. MUST BE PAID IN ONE TRANSACTION. The organizer is charged a fee for each transaction. Rounds: 12:15 (sharp) then approximately 2:00 and 3:45 p.m. There will be 15-minute breaks between rounds. Byes: One 1/2-point bye per player available. Round 1 only. Prizes: None. To participate you must: 1. Be a current member of the U.S. Chess Federation. 2. Have a LiChess.org account. 3. Be a member of the Westfield Chess Club's LiChess Team. 4. Fill-out the registration form at https://forms.gle/ceNcNJPs4cWa3nNHA. 5. Send your EF(s) via PayPal to jpmoldovan2@aol.com by 10:15 a.m. EDT on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Siblings will NOT be paired against each other! If payment is not received you will not receive the password. Sunday, April 4 - No tournament. In keeping with tradition, we will be closed on Easter Sunday. Sunday, April 11 - To be announced. We are definitely running a tournament on this day; just not sure what the format will be. |

| The Westfield Chess Club meets most Sundays, starting at 11:20 a.m., at the YMCA building, 220 Clark Street, Westfield, NJ 07090. We are USCF-affiliated and run rated tournaments almost every week. |
